HOT DAY, COOL DUNKS – º£½ÇÉçÇø President Peter Mitchell motivates staffer Wendy Beach into dunking him for a good cause. The LSSU service sorority Sigma Lambda Sigma took advantage of the unseasonably warm weather on Sept. 22 to bring a dunk tank to campus to raise funds – at $3 a throw – for American Red Cross hurricane relief efforts. In the space of two hours they raised almost $200 dunking Mitchell and other volunteer ‘dunkees’ from the Lake State athletic department. (LSSU/John Shibley)
