Abstract:Theresearchinourlaboratoryfocusesondevelopingmolecularprobesandbiochemicalassayforidentifyingandunderstandinglinksbetweenimpairedbiologicalmechanismsanddiseases.Weheavilyrelyonchemicalbiologytounderstandmolecularinteractionsthatcontrolcellularequilibriumandusesyntheticorganicchemistrytoproducesmallmoleculestomonitorandadjustimpairedbiochemicalprocesses.Themultidisciplinaryresearchenvironmentinthelabprovidesadiverseplatformattheinterfaceofchemistryandbiologyforstudenteducationatanylevel.
